From 21 March to 23 March 2019, the European Interdisciplinary Studies programme organized — in cooperation with the  — a two and a half days Introductory Seminar on International Humanitarian Law腾达娱乐 for students, researchers and practitioners.

腾达娱乐The aim of this seminar was to familiarize participants with new and emerging challenges that the international community is confronted with in the domain of Humanitarian Protection and Assistance in times of armed conflicts.

Professor Elżbieta MIKOS-SKUZA腾达娱乐 (University of Warsaw, College of Europe) and other practitioners of Law and EU Affairs addressed highly-discussed issues related to the workings of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and the links between the European Union and IHL.

On 24 March 2019 (Sunday) 09:00-13:00, the seminar was followed by a simulation game — "Passages" — created by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in 1995 and designed to put participants through the experience of being a refugee fleeing war or persecution. The game was organized by the College of Europe Natolin campus in cooperation with the UNHCR Representation in Poland.
